About the Operator
My name is Maria Perez, and I am the operator of Maria's Paella and Lulu's Commercial Kitchen. Like many of the chefs and food entrepreneurs who work here, I began my journey in a shared kitchen.
I am a food vendor myself, and I understand firsthand the needs, challenges, and dreams of caterers, pop-up vendors, and food truck operators—because I am one of you.
My career has been driven by a deep love for flavors, textures, aromas, and the creativity behind fusion and California cuisine. I have a profound appreciation for markets, pop-ups, street food, and the vibrant communities they create.
Lulu's Commercial Kitchen was built with intention—to offer the kind of kitchen I once needed and the kind of support I still value as a vendor today.
My goal is to provide a clean, professional, and welcoming space where food businesses can grow, just as mine did, and where every chef is treated with respect, understanding, and care.
